Dimes ? the parking meters up here take visa/master cards 10.00 is a lot of dimes.would your time be up by the time you got it paid??

 

Don't you hate how when you start putting change in parking meters or in the car cash how your time ticks away as you adding more money?

 

could you call that on the clock I think that little trick causes us to put a little more in to make sure we can get back before we run out think it will help balance the city budgets?

 

What is the fine around you for running out of money in the meter?

 

At least in Charlotte there is a proposed law to curb predatory towing companies, they have been know to have a car on the hook waiting for the meter to click "expired". I fought a ticket in Charlotte, even had the parking authority time the meter, clicked "expired" at 42 minutes, I paid for 45...was told that "its within tolerances". Gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling for local government doesn't it?
