Have I over stepped my bounds?

 

Overstepping your bounds would require some definition of the "bounds" that were overstepped don't you think?

While there are official site rules and regulations, the test for me is always "is this inappropriate, offensive, obscene, or disruptive?", if it fits any one of those categories....then you won't see it from me.

 

What bounds are we overstepping when we live in a society overstuffed with boundless limits????

Gee, the HVAC contractor just called to say that he'd "totally forgotten" about setting an appointment to come by and give me a quote on two new HVAC systems.

Now can anyone guess what I said after wasting an entire morning waiting for said HVAC contractor, who didn't return my calls until five minutes ago??

Hint....I can't use those words here.

So you only wanted to order two systems. You must bee too small a fish to get His attention. There has to be a better, more attentive, hungry contractor, Ha ha. It's not good to mess with Mike on a monday ??

Unless you are dealing with a one legged Indian, or should I have said a one arm coat hanger to be more politically correct ??

He seemed to me, the kind of guy who needs some colorful additives to understand. Don't feel guilty. They way he does business, you might have been the kindest person he has spoke with in days. Did you think of it that way ??
