Any SmartPhone Users Out There?

I just upgraded to an AT&T Tilt and love it so far. I was wondering if there was a way to download antivirus software to it. A coworker actually got a virus on her phone from an infected video. I plan to use this phone while traveling for business and have full internet access. I really think antivirus software is necessary. Can anyone help?

I've had a Verizon Black MotorolaQ for over a year and never had a problem. I think it is like with any "computer" (including my PDA which also has Bluetooth and internet access), you don't download anything you're not familiar with.

I assume you have Windows Mobile on it? I know the Windows Mobile page has links to outside vendors who make other software for it--perhaps you can go there and find one to download.

I love having a Smartphone!

Thanks! I ran across some forums for the Tilt but didn't read deeply. I go back and look for downloads. Yes, I am using Windows Mobile 6.0. PDAs are a great option and I plan to take it on my first trip next month to see all it can do.

I have a Dell Axim x51v running WM 5.0. With a wireless "Think Outside" keyboard (folds up very nicely flat), I use this as my "laptop" for work, school and conferences. I have a case for it that is the size of a good paperback book--so easier to toss in my back-pack, suitcase or whatever. Having MS Office on it helps and downloads to my laptop are easy.

I would recommend a PDA for the reason--it is a little computer in a compact place.

Gosh do I love technology!

I had been resisting because of the small size of the screen and the keys. But, after two years of lugging my laptop through airports, I had to downsize. I did find a PDA with the largest screen and keys available. Can't wait to learn everything it can do!
