I recall this one -- Emilio Estevez taking revenge on a killer street-drag gang from beyond the grave using a hyper-futuristic concept Dodge. Story left something to be desired, but the car action was pretty good.
I've got a couple good car-featuring movies in mind ... thinking of both versions of "The Italian Job" (gotta love the mad Mini chases), more into the original "Gone in 60 Seconds," and of course there's a classic chase in "The French Connection" ... but I'm going to go outside the box for my two picks:
"Talladega Nights," just for the silliness but also for the semi-authentic NASCAR races.
"The Marine," which involves a pretty decent car chase in the beginning (bad guys in a Navigator vs. John Cena in a police-modded Camaro), and near the end has a rather creative way of killing off a villain ... yank her out of a semi cab and into the path of a speeding bus.
