I've decided to make a list and burn a CD of the best car songs of all time, just for the fun and memories. My vote would have to be Hod Rod Lincoln. Some others I really like are 409, Little Deuce Coupe, Hey Little Cobra, Shut Down, and G.T.O. I'd love to hear some others.

Capt'n, are those listed on that thread just jammin' songs or 'car' related? (like, make one want to drive faster!)
Alot of those I'd never heard before.
I think this author was going with a theme of tunes with cars in their lyrics.
I think it's a cool idea. I hope the play list is made available to all of us.

I Can't Drive 55 by Sammy Hagar Low Rider by War, Like A Rock by Bob Seger, Bad To The Bone by Thorogood, La Grange by ZZ Top just to name a few. Not sure about car songs, but there are some definite real good cruisin' songs out there. Especially during the 50's through the 80's.

 

ABSOLUTELY Low Rider by War - that's the song I cruise down the freeway every morning to. Never get tired of it, even after 30+ years of it being out. Little Red Corvette by Prince comes to mind, but I think that included a 'ride' of a different nature........
