yeshua63043, I grew up in South St Louis County. I also spent a lot of time going to custom car shows in the area in the 70s. A close friend was one of the best customizers in the area. He had a silver chopped '69 Camaro with multi-colored flames. Have you ever seen it?

Doubt it, never was into the car show scene before. In the 70's I would have been in grade school!;)

DaRaceNGuy - The Racing Guy  I use to race powerboats in my former lifetime. "Before I got married" I told Da "Wife" that I'll give up racing and save my pennies for a recreational powerboat - So, instead of killing myself at racing, I can take out the whole family

Desert Coyote 08-02-2006 08:26 AM

Okay, this gets complicated, so bear with me ...

The "Coyote" part comes from when I first went to college in the mid-90's, at Michigan State. I was in the marching band, and part of their marching cadence to the stadium on gameday involves a random screaming section, where we just let it all hang out and just made noise. Being the creative guy I am, I started howling like a coyote when that section came up ... a little thing that wound up becoming part of my persona. Later on, I started using the username "Coyote Bando" when I started going online. It got a bit bastardized when I found the online Gargoyles fandom: for ease of reference because there were two characters in that show already named Coyote, I added a "the" in the middle of it (i.e. "Coyote the Bando") to refer to myself, as the other two were referred to as "Coyote the Robot" and "Coyote the Fae." :red:

The "Desert" part comes from my Arizonan wife, it's my tribute to her home state. :D

If you look at my site, at the bottom it'll have a copyright notice for "Desert Coyote Productions." When I was participating in an online Hollywood sim, that was the name of my production company. It's kinda stuck. :p:

I was a scale technician in another professional life, first used it as my e-mail address and it has seemed to stick over the years...

DaJoker 08-02-2006 10:00 AM

Mine is a nickname from college. Was received because of the original Batman movie, where Nicholson was The Joker. Well, my smile looks like that goofy grin of Nicholson's Joker. Even turned up at the ends, without the need for the makeup like Nicholson had. Some friends noticed it, started calling me Joker and it just kinda stuck.
