I know exactly how you feel. I pinched my pinky between a machine guard and metal rollers a few yrs ago. I had 2 pins that stuck out from my knuckle. BUT, mine never did hurt. I was playing volleyball a week later. You can spike the crap outta the ball with a cast over the palm and wrist. Maybe yours will heal straight. Mine has a permanent crook in it. I cant straighten it out without using my other hand. It bends fine tho.
