Buried In Snow In Denver
#31
I was in Denver for a 23 inch snow fall while in military electronics school, terrible on the day the snow fell, but it was handlked so well that we really had no issues...Of course I did drive into Lowery ahead of the plows...hahaha I'm an Illinois native and grew up driving in snow !!! Keep warm and keep "Smoke" safe !!! Merry Christmas !!!

But at least we don't have 2 ft. of snow to go with it!
Yesterday at 7:00 AM it was 24 out there! Who say's it doesn't get cold around Phoenix? More Brrrrr!

Hey Mike...I like that 2nd one. First one looks like too much work to me.
We ventured out of the mobile home park today and OMG...what a mess. Some of the roads that are normally 2 lanes both directions are only one lane in some areas. Major traffic jams all over the metro area, ut I would venture to guess many people did not go to work today either. Probably finishing their shopping or stocking up on groceries for the weekend.
Smoke did well everywhere we went today...even on icy hills. Never really realized how low the HHR is geared until taking off on an icy hill. Just put it into 2nd instead of 1st and away we went with no tire spinning whatsoever. Very impressed with how the HHR handled in these conditions.
Temp was about 30F entire time we were out...but sky clouded over early afternoon and I would venture to guess it's gonna be a little ricky getting around when the ruts of slush freeze. Glad we're back home safe and sound.
