I don't know about other locations but around Atlanta you couldn't get a Camaro (particularly the SS) for anywhere NEAR MSRP. They were jacking prices way up for regional adjustments or whatever they call it. The first person I knew to get an SS paid well over $40k. I think they are selling at sticker now. I have several friends out to get one but they are all waiting till deals can be struck.

On the other hand, Ford dealers where wheelin' and dealin' on the Mustangs which was another boost to their sales.

Hardy Chevy out in Dallas had had a yellow one with black ralley stripes on a pedastal out front for months. Not sure which model it is. Probably an LS.
