All the ads Ive seen are pretty clear the financing deal is only on "certain in stock 2013 models", so no factory orders, they would be 2014 at this point anyways and would be a long wait.
Dealer trades are very common, just did one with the Trax. Very specific options and colour, so our local dealer did a search and found one in Burlington, so it had about 80km on it when we picked it up, no big deal. If there was any damage, we would get it properly repaired or discounted off the price.
You could try and locate it yourself using postal codes on the GM website, as the local dealer probably wont tell you where it is. Then just tell them to ship it or you will drive out there and buy it. One thing though, if you end up contacting the distant dealership and tell them you are interested, they may no longer release the car on a dealer trade.

so they did a dealer search and found one close by! lucky for us its about 30mins away. The other dealership just got it in from factory with the exact options she was looking for on the weekend so were going to pick it up on saturday! Came out to about $26,000 all in/out the door.. which i still find high for this tiny car haha but its what she wants, shes paying for it not me! so we were able to still get the 0% for 84
