Arrow The coolest Pontiac you'll ever see......

In case you missed the 1939-40 World's Fair like I did, hard to attend when you're not even born and all, you may have never seen this car. It was built for the fair by GM as a showcase, its a Plexiglas bodied Pontiac and just about the coolest Tin Indian you'll ever see. Its going up for auction soon, here's a link to the article at Hemmings.

That would be cool, but it just has a plain old fully functional straight 8, its rung up 86 miles over the years so someone had to have fun with it in traffic just once....can you imagine the looks you'd get?

843- Very Cool..Haven't seen or thought of this Ghost Car in ages..

1 of 2, this being the only survivor left. Did come with a 222.7 cu. in. L-head six-cylinder engine (flathead)..

I'd dearly love to have it too, but driving it would ruin it, and even the most valuable thing I own sees the road at least bi-weekly. To have something like that just to have it, and then never enjoying it, well the money would be better spent on something else.

I just hope it goes to someone who will treasure it and make it available to those who love cars in some sort of museum, rather than stuffing it away while it appreciates until the next auction.

Are those white walls, or just dirty tires reflecting some sun?
