I went there about 20 years ago for 2 weeks. Best vacation ever! I still dream of going back. The people were terrific and the scenery even better. The tour through the rain forest and volcano was unforgettable.

Then, a modest (small) house in San Jose was running about $5000. I'm sure it's not quite as cheap now, but I've often thought of retiring there.

I have yet to drink a better cup of coffee than what we were served there.

 

Now, now--just because we don't agree on certain things, doesn't mean we don't love our country--one group doesn't own patriotism.

Still, if I was to choose a place to live outside of here, CR would be it! good food, good coffee, and the climate reminds me of SoCal.
