Daylight Saving Time
My thought is regardless of the number used when the sun comes up over the eastern horizon it is up.
And when it sets in the west it is down.
No DAYLIGHT is saved or lost.
Humans have gotten to used to the time standards that they set.
When my son was 4 he used to come into my bedroom and tell me "the sun is up and so am I".

Well after yesterday’s festivities in Washington, a bill has been passed to stay permanent in daylight saving time, Arizona and Hawaii will remain in standard time, this will start November 2023 if the bill is passed into law.
Here in Canada, BC and Ontario have passed legislation to agree to these changes provided New York and Quebec agree.
So, because the sun sets an hour later in the evening, less power will be used for lighting our homes , offices, malls and roads. But the sun rises an hour later in the morning, and will use that electrical power then, kinda washes out that theory.
I like the idea , now I just have to reset my TV to not change time.
I hope this passes and there will be no more rants , just misty water coloured memories, of that time at band camp!!
