You guys have seem to be working together here. The images was deleted as requested. I am watching this one though.
Again, we can disagree without being disagreeable.

Their Satanic lyrics can be a bit goofy at times. Glen Benton is viewed as the anti-christ by some Christians because the guy is so hardcore he burned an upside down cross into his forehead.
I believe Charlie Manson has scarification professing his beliefs on his forehead also.
I grew up 70's rock. I didn't like country music at all back then.
I was 'forced' to listen to country at a job as that's what the owners listened to. I didn't like it back then. I couldn't argue with them. I dealt with it.
A few jobs later, and being at this present one for 13+ yrs now, this place rotates radio stations. Over the years with maturity and different music styles gracing my ears, I have widened my music selections.
I have Sirius Satellite Radio now and my favorite station is "Supper Shuffle". It's a little of every music style.
I haven even been known to put on gospel. Even though I am not one bit religious. It's the vocals and melody I enjoy. I have heard some hard rock gospel stuff, I like that too!
I swing to my music also!

I think you should be more understanding in that area, being you have children of your own. Sometimes Howdy you act as if you want to push and push peoples buttons. Don't! You can Idolize this group and buy all the records and so forth but please be considerate of other peoples feelings. One minute you are real nice and bam, here you go again.
Captain, You may have never been influinced by this kind of music to commit suicide but their has been literally thousand who have. You are also not a pastors son and that has something to do with it. Not only do these groups spew hatred against God but His servants. There were other things going on but mainly this music.
I Have a son who is now 30 and married and has two children and doing great
When He was in his teens. Sixteen and seventeen he got involved in listening to heavy metal and alternative Christian groups at that time. White Cross and others. The reason was he liked the sound and it appealed to the youth at that time. In the eightys, groups like Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Slayer and a lot of others were puting out this screaming music. I had never realy listen to this music until one day I noticed my son begin to cut His arms with raizor blades and hanging around with head bangers. I took them to church and he went to a Christian school. I tried to get him to listen to alternative music that sound the same and they acted a lot like these other secular groups. I thought that would draw him closer to the Lord because the words were of the Lord. "Just because the word is spoken does not make the music Godly."
One day I come home to find my son overdosed on drugs after listening to Slayer and he saw spiders and snakes. He told me that he was told to do this in one of the songs. His heart was about to beat out of his chest. By time the paremedics got there he was totally dillireous and he almost went in to cardiac arrest. My wife and I pleaded the blood of Jesus over him and they got him to the hospital just in time to save his life.
When we got home I began to go through every drawer, glove compartment of his car and ever place that I thought any of this music might be. I was in shock at the stuff that my son had been listening to. The devil is a deceiver. He will use music for he is the prince of the air. I rounded up about 5o tapes of all kind of heavy metal, head banging and the like. The two main instigators in his attempted suicide was Slayer and Black Sabbath and to find out later Ozzie Ozborne tryed to recruit my son. By the way my son played the electric guitar. The music of some of these groups openly worship satan, speak blaphemies against God. Advocates suicide and the killing of Christians and Jesus.
I took every tape and everything that had any connection to these groups or type of songs and removed them from my sons life. He quit playing the guitar and was deliverd from this bondage and oppression. He joined the Marines and served our country for four years and fought in the Bosnian conflict. The devil lost this battle for my son and I am not ashamed of ever taking a stand on this.

I'm relieved all is well now.

Thanks for sharing something I'm sure was painful to articulate into words.
My opinion differs though.
