Dodge Caliber vs. Chevy HHR

Why does the Dodge Caliber have so many aftermarket parts available? Unlike the Chevy HHR which has very few here and there. Example: Dodge Caliber owners are able to purchase aftermarket Halo headlights (Xenon and others). Come on GM we want some parts for the HHR let's go, quit lagging on the old band wagon......

probably has something to do with dodge being more friendly with the after market crowd than gm. Some time oem's just won't work with aftermarkets.. I havent seen too many calibers with accessories.. most look stock to me.. I briefly looked at tthe caliber but they were in short supply and the dealer gave me a bad vibe.. life is too short to deal dealers with attitude..

Agreed with that about the dealers. There are alot of what you can call "hooked up" Calibers on cardomain.com

Yup, Dodge learned well the lesson of working with aftermarket suppliers with the Neon and the PT. Whatever makes the cars more popular, and aftermarket options do that, will make the oem maore money.

HAHA potency.... NOT REALLY!!! I hardly think our HHR's are as potent as we think... Dodge has more horsepower all the way around. See comparisons below.

Dodge Caliber -----------Chevy HHR

1.8 148/hp*--------------N/A
2.0 158/hp*--------------N/A
2.2 N/A-----------------149/hp**
2.4 172/hp*--------------172/hp**

TURBO'S

2.4 285/hp*---------------260/hp** <----- NOT SO GOOD

**- verified by chevy.com

Wheelie7...... Let's just hope your "neighbor" and Wheelie's "little friend" has a 1.8 liter engine
