Does anyone wave at other HHRs?

I only got one wave-a brand new Red SS coming towards me. I stuck my hand out of the sunroof and waived. My front windows are tinted darker, so they can't see me unless I do this--must of thought I was crazy as it took him a few seconds to realize I was waving at him

Other then that...no one has returned the wave.

I need a hands free unit too (CA will require one as of June).

When I had my Jeep.......we all waved.

When I had my MINI Cooper.......I always waved......they mostly all waved back.

With the HHR.....my first three waves were returned with the mi_dle fin_er twice and ignored the third.

Needless to say......I don't wave any more.

When you put it that way Ray, it seems to make more sense. I too always wave and/or flash my lights when I see another HHR..I even give a thumbs up when I pass one on the expressway... but in all the 28000 miles I've put on my HHR I think I've only had a handful of return waves/thumbs-up, no return flashes but a lot of quizzical and/or fearful looks!

The majority of people I have seen down here don't ever seem to notice the cars around them. I did get a confused and surprised look when I passed a shadow edition on the way into work today and waved at him. I have waved pretty much every time I see an HHR and they would be able to see me. I have yet to get a wave back.

I guess we'll just have to wave at each other at G2G's.

I wave and get some waves back (40%) And the other day I was stopped at a light and an on coming SOM got to the light at the same time which was pretty cool I gave him a thumbs up and he gave me the hang loose sign and we were both grinning! When that happens its like you make a friend for a few seconds.:twothumbs
