Question El Caprice molds

Any one rember a mod for the old Caprice that made it into a pickup that they called "El Caprice?" It was a cool transformation from a sedan to a pickup. Just wondering.

420 day?

Used to see ads on them-pics and all. Even got a builders manuel from them. Looked like a cross between an El Camino and a Caprice.

That's the show. I knew they built kit cars so I guess the name fits.

Caprice/El Camino

The black one looks the closest. The one that I'm thinking of had the same style of rear window as the last generation of El Camino-the small triangle window after the door and the curved rear glass. The body was one piece (!) that included a roof piece and a full bed/and rear body. It looked like a advanced kit or a body shop job. I think they were based in LA.
