Pikes Peak is a great drive. I recommend it to everyone. I got engaged on the top of it 27 years ago.

I've made that drive before. You really get the feel of what those drivers must be thinking at the speed they are traveling. It's nuts....lol

They are only thinking about the pavement... Nothing beyond that.

Yes it could be very scary if you go over the outside line on that road.

Portions of it are still dirt. You are thinking about that even more than pavement, let me tell you...
