Blood-borne pathogens are a bio-hazard. Any bodily fluids from the perpetrator/victim/decedent would be considered dangerous without a medical history, and would need to be handled as if he were HIV positive Etc.

I'm originally from California, and there the tags are registered to the vehicle and not to the owner. So a car that is traded in goes with tags in place (unless they are personalized, out of state or commercial tags). When you looked down a line of used cars on a dealership lot, most of them had tags on them.
In other states, the tags are issued in the owners name and are easily transferred between vehicles (and, frequently, is significantly less expensive than creating a new registration with new tags issued). Here in Tennessee, transferring tags from your trade-in to your new vehicle will cost you $15 compared to $79+ for new tags (and higher depending on county and registration type).

Could be the case, they say he was thrown out of the vehicle and landed over 150 feet away. They also estimate the damage to top $250,000.

Ok that makes sense. Here in NV the plates are issued to the owner, so at trade in you take your plates. I wish transferring the tags was that cheap, you can transfer the tags but it just takes the remaining balance left on them and applies it to new fees.

Its amazing what an airborn vehicle can do....When I lived in FL had a vehicle leave the road, clear a 8 ft fence with 25 ft of grasss, lightly dented the drvr side rear quarter of my truck..left a 2 ft rubber mark on my VW roof above the pass door( prked in front of truck) and landed across the street in my driveway with the hood in my flowerbed, just missed the olds in the drvway. Car was totalled.he was hurt but non threatening. Turns out it wasd the son of the GF of a guy I worked with. Yeah, he was wasted. Still never figured out how he cleared the truck (with a bed cap) and rubbered the VW.
