I don't see this slow down. I still activate 10-20 new members every day. They just all aren't posters. I've seen a lot come and a lot disappear. I'm sure there are various reasons why they leave, but new ones are always coming on board.

Hi to all. I would just like to say a few words about Mike, aka 843de. I really appreciate the way he always had something helpful to offer the folks in this forum. He didn't have to do that, he just liked to. He helped many of us in many ways. I for one was very greatful for his help. I've been wondering why he hasn't posted lately. Does anyone know? You might not all agree with me, but I'll bet many of you benefitted in some way from Mike's posts. This world could use lots more folks like Mike, aka 843de. That's my 2 cents worth.

On any forum, people come and go. When they first get an HHR, they're super excited and post all the time. But then after a while, the excitement wears off, and they don't come on nearly as much. Some people post way more than others; there's some people who come on a lot but don't post all the time. In most cases, once someone sells their HHR and gets something else, they hardly ever come on much. It seems like for every member that leaves a new member joins. Even though they don't make the HHR anymore, it has been out for a while now, and there's still plenty of people buying them used. So there are still going to be new members signing up every day at least for a good while.

Your opinion has been voiced. It seems that is a touchy subject and might as well let rest.

Fine ya got me in it. I agree he had a great sense of humor and was always replying with funny posts. Seemed knowledgeable. No ones perfect. I screwed up here and am thankful to still be around. We always live and learn. Everyone makes mistakes. Hey even me! :

Alright to my comment about them not making them, i get it, and do agree. This is a slow time of year, most people are done with summer vacations, kids are back in school.
I just bought mine and am running around learning new things to do to it.
I try not to go crazy with the posts since there is such a massive amount of info to be gleened here. That was a pet peve as a moderator on the site that i worked for prior to joining here was info not getting searched.

I decided to jump on this morning...haven't been on in about 2 weeks. I've pretty much left the site due to the constant policing from some of the sr. members on the here. New folks jump on and ask questions and there are the select few that always makes sure to point out the search function rather than just telling them the information they ask. The search function is a pain to use and being new that's the last thing you generally want to check when you are looking for an answer...we've all been there before so give this folks a break...let the moderators do the policing on the site. A lot of the sr. members I guess are set in their ways and think they know all that should be known about everyone's wagon which is fine, but for a site that's supposed to be fun and supportive, it seems to be lacking in both.
