Probably Won't see it, as the G8 Sedan is already failing.

GTO sold. GM couldn't afford to re-do the GTO to meet Gov't Epa Specs.

Here it is in Pontiac skin and it looks :

Pontiac G8 Coupe

In fact I think it looks way better than the sedan version.

Forget this guys it was killed months ago.

The future for Pontiac lies in Delta II and Alpha plaforms. The Alpha is RWD and will only be 4 and Six cylinder. But look for Tubo's in each.

GM anounced the first Alpha as a small Caddy to slot under the CTS. More will follow on this platform as Zeta tha under pinned the Holden and G8 will faze out earlier than planned.

I also expect a 6 Gen Camaro to be planned on the Alpha if demad for the Camaro remains strong for it and the Mustang.

The new CAFE regs has changed the whole game.

GM is moving Sky and Solstice to Bowling Green Assembly in 2011.

Also, they have Americanized that Holden and put a bowtie on it. It's called the Camaro and it'll be out in February.

That car is all fun and games until you bottom it on a speed bump in a parking lot.

to whoever said this was the GTO, you're almost right. the GTO was indeed a Holden, but this is a coupe-variant of the Commodore (G8 here) while the GTO was the Holden Monaro. either way, i don't see this coming here. as stated earlier, enthusiasts aren't a big enough part of the market for this to be economically feasible to bring here. and Cleveland, not sure about the coupe, but the G8 GT sedan is just a hair over 4000 lbs. as for the Sky and Solstice, last thing i read, it was still a questionable fate for those two, as yes, they are losing a fair bit of money on each one sold, so they need to find a way to make them cheaper to produce, or sell them for more, if the models are going to continue on.
