The government takes more per gallon in taxes than the oil company makes per gallon. Besides, Obama WANTS $5 a gallon gas!

My orginal post on Feb15, the gas was at $3.69... This morning. Feb23, at the same gas station it was at $3.89.... It has gone up 20 cents in a week..... did someone stop refining oil that I haven't heard about?

People in Europe have free health care, we don't. I pay a 200 a month health care premium, more then I spend a month in gas by far.

They are blaming the rising prices on China and the annual refinery maintenance that usual happens in spring. All BS either way. I'd be all for that Canadian pipeline going through our nation, but the only problem is that oil is for everyone but the US. So we get to destroy our land so Canada and a few US billionaires can make more money selling oil overseas.
