George Barris dead at 89
The "King of The Kustomizers" has passed away, George Barris was 89.
George Barris Dead: Batmobile Creator Was 89 - Hollywood Reporter
From his creation of the first Batmobile from a discarded Lincoln Concept Car called the Futura, or his lesser known creations like the AMC AMX-400 from the TV Series Banacek.
George Barris left the world with a rich history of wild "Kustom Kars", and he'll be missed.
I'm sure that somewhere on "The Other Side", Boyd Coddington, Dean Jefferies, and George are arguing once again over who did what first...just like they always did.
