that has been a long time coming. All the local hummer dealers in my area have already shut the doors, probably like 2 years ago.

There is a small group of investors trying to put together a private ownership group to take it over. There might be a chance they could get it before the Feb 28th deadline of a possible sale.

I dont think gm ever wanted pontiac out of their control. I never heard much about Waldron.

Spyker was able to rescue saab after the koenigsigg deal fell through rather quickly so theres always a chance.

Also hummer wasnt always a blunder for gm. They actually were a cash cow when it launched up until gas prices sky rocketed and then they let the line up get stale.
