Don't get me going on this subject again. GM can sue, but I still have live with a rattling steering column that drives me absolutly nuts. The dealership has done what they can, GM has not. It's BS.

1.3M Recalled, so far HHR not mentioned???

GM just announced a recall of 1.3 Million vehicles recalled for power steering problems. Cobalt and G5, well last time I checked the HHR has the exact same platform.

Are they just going to sidestep the HHR because of it's lower production figures?

My '06 has 38,000 on it and still hasn't had any issues but I'm sure they are coming.

ChevyMgr do you have any insight on this new recall? Any official info you can share?

Enquiring minds......

Yeah, I just saw that as well. My HHR SS is at the dealer right now having the steering column replaced. I shut her off in a parking spot it was fine. I go to leave and it was HARD to steer.

Mine had a new steering column put in yesterday, but that was because the old one was clunking.
