Job Security is the reason. Amazing. NO ONE has job security in business. It's not a right nor should it be. You want job security, BUILD BETTER CARS.....$30 an hour to turn screws....that don't stay that way.

The year is 2007 not 1920 Get over it...Won't be much public support..except from CNN I'll bet..

GEORGETOWN, Ky. - Milt Sizemore has had enough of the United Auto Workers union. He's tired of the annual recruiting drives and all of the promises that come with them. Like hundreds of other workers at Toyota Motor Corp.'s massive factory here, he just wants to do his job and go home.

He may get his wish.

Late last month, national UAW organizers pulled out of town after yet another failed recruiting drive.



And Toyota workers make $24 an hour.....

Yep...Tonawanda,NY is on strike and the Windsor Transmission plant here is laid off.
No parts will be coming from the US to Windsor, so we wait for a settlement.

Don't know... if it would or not... affect Mexico...

 

I don't think they are unionized. However, no parts.....

 

Yep .. supply of parts could be dimished..
Then there lines would shut down...

And parts for us (vehicles already on the road)... if one or many parts were needed and dimish stock on hand... would be depleted and no more would be available...
