I haven't seen either new color on my dealer's lot yet.

Actually the amethyst was introduced right from the get go. I know of a fella in the "Other group" that had an amethyst in the 05' when they were first released, plus Tekbunny had one relatively early also... I am interested in the color as well...

In Sept, they had an amethyst sitting next to the my DB.
