Greetings

Hello All I'm new here to your forum. I have been reading your posts and have enjoyed the site very much. I am thinking about picking up a HHR in the near future. I have currently a 05 SSR so I thought I would get the HHR to complete my retro set. I really like the panel version.

Yeah, as Karen said, those Chevy's will look nice together!
Check my sig pic to see my chevy twins.

I hope you get one, they are seeming quite reliable for a new car and don't have any real fatal problems, just the odd thing or two. No one here has had a real blown up engine. They seem durable.

I'm sure you've seen it here in the forum, but DO get one with running boards as the sandblasting of the rear area is a real concern that running boards can help with.

The only mandatory mod I see if the addition of the rear antisway bar. It makes a REAL difference . Great for controlling body roll on the highway when you are forced to change lanes suddenly. A life saving mod that reduces body roll and adds a bit of oversteer.

Why yes they do. One member from the SSR forum took theirs off and immediately regretted it as he had to have it repainted. Some SSR owners don't like them for various reasons but I like mine. I just wish the reds (HHR and SSR red) matched. I plan on having my SSR paint when I get home. Still trying to figure out the theme for that.

What kind of theme would you have in mind if you got an HHR?

Well jx3 the SSR screams for some kind of flames or I'm flirting with the idea of red, white, and blue. I don't know if I would paint the HHR to match or something different.
