I for one am glad this year is over--been an up and down one for me.
Downs were bad: losing my job for petty reasons and having to collect unemployment for the first time in my life.
Still, I know I am better off than others as I have a roof over my head and a family that helps.
The Up's have been great. Passed my qualifying exam for my PhD and can now begin writing my dissertation (defense: Spring 2011).
Spending great times with the SoCal crew.
Other (personal) changes that are also pretty cool.
Thus I begin this new year with high hopes.

Happy new year!
I hope everyone has a safe and fun New Year. I also hope that we all recieve a wonderfully fullfilling new year. I just hope my mods get done and I can get my car to rockingham or Benson drag strip. I hope I will also catch up with some of ya'll.
