Today I really feel good about this Holiday called Thanksgiving, I have a lot to be thankfull for, My Wife & Family, My HHr, My new HHr Family and you are know who you are. My health has not been so good the last year & 1/2 but I am doing much better now thanks to every body who I have been in contact with God Bless every one and most of all Bless the Men & Women in our Military. I thank you all for keeping peace and keeping us all safe and FREE!

TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING, BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP
I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS, I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP.
THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED - THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE
BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT
TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION
THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION.
SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR
AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE.
I GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES,
PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES.
I WAS PILING MORE FOOD UP ON A LARGE TRAY,
WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE FLOOR GAVE AWAY!
I CRASHED THROUGH THE BOARDS TOWARD THE BASEMENT BELOW
THROUGH A MOUTH STUFFED WITH PUDDING I CRIED OUT IN WOE.
BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I FELL OUT OF SIGHT,
HAPPY EATING TO ALL - ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT!
MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY, MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP.
MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY HAVE NARY A LUMP,
MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS.
