Good morning all, and thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, your kindness just blows us away.

Dad made it through the night despite some serious odds stacked against him. Now his condition has stabilized enough that the doctors are discussing the possibility of installing three cardiac stents either today or tomorrow.

We have all been ordered to go get some sleep before they need to admit us too. Thankfully the head of nursing here has made arrangements for a couple of hotel rooms nearby, and now we're waiting on a taxi, no driving for me after 31 hours of being awake.

I'll give you an update later today as we know more, for now we've gotta get some rest and food into us.

Thoughts and prayers for dad

 

Hey everyone, just a quick update.

Dad is still stable and they have a stent procedure scheduled for 8am tomorrow, for the moment they are keeping him in deep sedation and administering IV blood thinners etc.

At the moment, the prognosis is guarded but better than it was this time yesterday, we'll know more tomorrow.

We managed to get a couple hours of sleep and some food into us, so we're less like Zombies than we were this morning.

We can't all of you enough for your thoughts and prayers, y'all are the best.

Time to go before a nurse catches me on the smart phone where its a "no no".
