Hey wifey, "Let's go to the U.P."

So to spare pics here and/or the conversion due to pic rules here...

Here's a link to my local motorcycle forum thread about my tour I just did in northern michigan.

It's pic heavy so caution to your ancient dial up users.

LINK

It's not HHR but enjoy!

One of my Indian friends brings his timber wolves around to pow-wows and schools and wherever to teach wolf education.
The first time he went to the res in U.P. that his family's from they were hours from the nearest city.
About an hour down a dirt road a deer ran across the road up ahead of them.
"Cool" he said.
3 wolves then ran across chasing the deer.
"I think I'm going to like it here." he said

Nice country up there eh?

Makes me miss the UP. Went up there with my roommates a while back, to one of their parent's hunting cabins, for deer season.

But yeah, how'd you like crossing the Mighty Mac? That's one LONG bridge, especially with a lane closed and a slow-moving tourist going 5mph.

The bridge is GREAT. I will be over it again on the Ultra next month. The tourists weren't moving that slow... about 35-40mph.

And yes it really is a modern marval.

I lived in the U.P. for almost 3 years and spent almost every summer up there as a kid. Its one of the greatest places on earth!
