We all should hope that our HHRs last this long!

That's pretty awesome, both that she is coherent enough to drive the way she does, and that the darn thing has lasted that long! I guess with most vehicles, if you TRULY take care of them, they can last you a long, long time.

You take care of it, and it'll take care of you. My grandfather had an '86 Toyota pick-up that had a little over 600,000 miles on it when he passed. Used to be a truck driver so that little Toyota got around

Although still quite good to hear, you still about 300,000 miles short of her. So about a 1/3 the way there.

I have to say, I really don't think cars can last that long anymore. There are just so many more electrical parts, emissions parts, and a whole bunch of stuff you have no idea what it's for. Old cars you could at least work on yourself. Mileage-wise I think you could, but I don't know about age and mileage....

Maybe I'll be wrong though. I can only hope!
