Consider it scratched, the idea was more of a lark than anything, don't want to upset your local authorities or city council.

 

We will see what transpires. As I stated earlier we had the same idea and had challenged one member to prove his capabilites come BBQ time. I have an alternate location in mind if needed.

 

We were already planning on leaving the RV and car hauler at the Days Inn, just bringing the Big Black Car, picnic goodies, and ourselves. If you need someone fluent in "local government-ese" let me know, I'm involved in enough politics to know how the minds of local level government officials work.

 

At this point I'm wondering if it is just this specific director trying to protect her butt as when I asked my neighbor she didn't understand why city council would need approached. Like I said, I will let it play out but will consider an alternate location as well

 

How about Point defiance park its beautiful with a 5mile drive through old growth forest.

 

Sounds like somebody has seen a few to many "outlaw street racer" type movies.......
