How hot? Summer 2007

I don't know about your area but here in the South East, looks like it will be a hot summer. So lets see who hit's the highest temps. I know there are more places in the US that get hotter, but here's a starting point...

I will say that some of the hottest temps I have ever seen on a dash temp were down at Charleston AFB!

Well, we finally got some rain on Saturday so the humidity has gone way up. That always makes it feel much hotter to me. They're predicting 96 for Mobile today so we'll be in the low 90s. Good thing I'm on vacation trying to get some yard work done!

Go to The Weather Channel and look at the record summer highs in different cities. It's amazing how northern cities have higher records than we do on the gulf coast. I still say the summer in St Louis are much hotter than down here. However, I'll take the cool summer mornings over our humid ones any day.
