Premium or mid grade won't hurt, but it wouldn't benefit it typically..... kind of "throwing away that extra 10 cents" (or whatever) per gallon.

Some people have noticed something different, but depending on the brand there may be some extra cleaners/stabilizers etc. in the good stuff and that is what they are feeling, not the octane.

*prepares for a bunch of people to tell me I'm full of it*

But seriously the 2.2L doesn't need it........

Well I was looking at the DIC and it says my economy is 24mpg. Thats like way better then my lumina but you would think it would be more with it being a smaller engine. I haven't taken a road trip but I filled up last thursday and it is below a quater of a tank right now.

Raleigh 2.94 for premium and with a turbo you should always use premium. My grandfather was a GM engineer back in the day. He always said that with premium you get better gas mileage. Both are good reasons to pay the extra twenty cents per.

Press the re-set button to get a current mpg. Also if you had written down the mileage at last fill up & then write down how many gals it btakes to fill, you can figure out precisely how many mpgs' you are getting to compare to the DIC.

Sandman-

Yes Hi-Test here also, & none of the E-10 either.. Real Gas.
