I bought a house!!!!!!
Congrats Chad
You have made a great investment. I bought my first house in Cincinnati (Price Hill area) when I graduated from college in 1971. $ 11,000 for a duplex.
Here's pic:

Rented out the upstairs apt for 1/2 the mortgage payment.
My Dad taught me to always make a little extra principal payment ($ 25 or more) each month with the usual mortgage payment. It really saves interest & pay off time in the long run

$11,000 for a duplex in 1971 = $250,000 in 2008 doesn't it. I'd say that was one hell of an investment
I've purchased two homes in the last 10 years or so and had to sell them both within 3 years of purchaseing due to injuries, or job loses, I wish I still had my first one, I bought it for 70,000 and they are now going for well over $200,000 less then 10 years later.

Nice garage, Chad. No more worrying about stuff happening to your car @ night, hail damage (at least when you're home), etc., because your car is secured in the garage. Not to mention a great place to do maintenance on HHR and generally mess around with it. Space heater in there for winter and you're set.
