Angry I Hate Pollen!!!!!

Today I snapped, after lunch I stopped at the bank for $40 worth of quarters, every morning my black HHR leaves the parking garage with a two tone paint job.

Green and black work in some cases, but I can't stand driving the "Pollen Mobile", its more than even the California Duster can handle.

So until the "mating season" ends among DC's scenic trees, my journey to the Senate Office Building will begin 30 minutes earlier so I can blast the green crap off at the coin-op car wash.

Why can't plants keep their sex lives to themselves?

I feel your pain Mike.

My house is beside a 154 acre pine tree "farm". A north wind and mature pines = a yellow tint coat on everything. Luckily the little car gets to stay in the shop with the door closed. The white Dodge truck is outside, so it gets a good dusting and stays yellow for about 2 months every year.

Ahhhhh. Mother Nature!

The beautiful North West, home to a couple billion giant Douglas Fir trees, there is no escape. The California duster works good , but......for a couple weeks you would need a shovel...

The rain came back today, so my black panel is black again...

We still got snow melting here. It's doing a slow melt this year and the roads have been dirty everyday for the last month. Almost forgot what color my HHR is.

I ordered my first one back in 1989 when I saw their ad in Car & Driver, wonderful things they are, but the pollen this year is dang near apocalyptic. If I didn't know better I'd blame it on the North Koreans.
