Ok, good thing I waited, but BB means something else to most people on
this site, and I wouldn`t doubt they read your post thinking you were
saying you were another Black Beauty.
If you would be so kind as to clarify this on a post, it would be
greatly appreciated. B/B

Thanx aven11, there`s only enough room for one BB on this site.
So about 90% of the posting members, honestly (or are willing to vote that way) think that there needs to be some change made in the way the immigration system/problem is being handled.
I concede that there`s really nothing the average citizen can do, writing to your Congressperson/Senator is an avenue, but as long as money is involved, I can`t see any real incentives for elected officials to jump into the fire.
Certainly, we`ll never see a mass round up.

There's nothing wrong with trying to support your family. Look at all the problems being caused by deadbeat mom's and dad's.[/QUOTE]

The term "deadbeat mom or dad" refers to those not paying child support. It doesn't have anything to do with whether they're working or not.

The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants! That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down. Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the border.
When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a
canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq. Tell him if he
wants to come to Americathen he must serve a tour in the military.
Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it.

After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he
defended this country. He will also be registered to be taxed and be
a legal patriot. This option will probably deter illegal immigration
and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying
to make a better life for themselves. If they refuse to serve, ship
them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo. Problem
solved.

I`m not sure if the 'I`m trying to support my family', really is the basis for people coming across the border illegally.
Some people come, leaving a family, some come and create a family.
If you can`t support a family, don`t create one. If life is so bad in your homeland, do what you can to change conditions, rather than skip town, especially if the next town is another country.
Where`s your National Pride?
Then of course, you get to your new-found-town, and want them to change everything to suite you, even want them to speak the language, that you ran away from.
Simply amazing.

Agreed...often wondered why the 30,000, 10,000, or the 2 or 3 thousands aren't demonstrating for better working conditions, jobs overall, living conditions, etc. in Mexico.....and this is not meant as facetious.....I do wonder it.
