I moved these here, it’s not polite to hi-jack a member’s classified ad.

Having dealt with the bureaucracy around ISO, and the panic for every company and organisation to be ISO Certified, I came away so less impressed.

So many companies paid some serious $'s to become ISO Certified - and now one hardly sees any reference to their certification.

We had a cleaning solution that was totally innocuous at work, yet when one of the staff noticed it wasn't ISO C'd and raised an issue over it - man, people panicked and went into overdrive to get it ISO-Certified!!!! In the end, the certification end said it really really wasn't a problem at all. But at least months later, after spending who knows how many $'s were spent taking it all the way thru the bureaucratic tape, we had the Certificate!!! All for nothing, except for lining the ISO company's pockets.

OK folks. Those are some nice examples of what ISO means to you but let me clarify my OP. It was originally attached to a Want AD and the mods moved it here, rightfully so. Yes, Cat Man and myself had hijacked that thread.
My reason for saying ISO in that Want AD meant "In Search Of". This screen shot of that Ad shows what I was referring to.

George you are correct that myself and you did do something really not allowed.
To me it was conversation but did go off the topic the OP (original poster) started.
I didn't know the acronym ISO so had to look it up to understand it.
My mistake was to not look at slang acronyms
I will in the future use this as a search when people are lazy and don't want to spell out what they mean.
What does ISO mean? ISO Definition. Meaning of ISO. OnlineSlangDictionary.com

No, not off topic, just not pertaining to the ad! And actually there is a site rule about hi jacking another member’s classified ads, and it involves banning .
