Juke-R

Beware if you happen to come upon this little monster. The first link states it will have 485 hp, however it will have the 545 HP motor the GT-R will have (Link). Could be a phenomenal little sleeper, would love to see one in person to see how different it really is!

Ahhhhh.

That MIGHT be what I ran into, several weeks back, on the I-8 Interstate going to San Diego. The car was camouflaged heavily and you couldn't tell what it was. Note that 3 manufacturer proving grounds are in the area (Nissan, VW...and related family, GM).

Anyway, I was driving my Vette and was entering the Interstate from the access ramp and, after checking for traffic, I "punched" it going through the paddles. I looked in my rear view mirror and some car, with an unusual front bra was right behind me. I was over 100mph and started to backed off. The unknown brand vehicle flew by me without the driver even looking over. The car was rapped with checkerboard and diagonal stripe camouflage. I thought about chasing it but it already had about a 30-40 MPH lead on me.

Never saw it again.

My question - Who really asked for the Juke-R, anyway?

Saw a 'regular' Juke the other day. This thing is almost laugh-out-loud UGLY.

Its legit.. they actually went into production on it. Feel free to follow the links, if you have approx 200K you can order one. Since the GT-R components wouldn't fit in the Juke, they "stretched" a Juke body over GT-R components.

Possibly - I've only seen reports of it being tested in Dubai but could have had a shake down or two in the states too.

What a hideous vehicle, its like an old AMC Pacer mated with a mechanical frog. I don't care how fast they may be, you can't outrun ugly.

This has not been green-lighted for production yet - see end of C/D article above. But, God, these make the Aztek look good...
