They must have changed this year. I haven't made enough to pay taxes for 2 years. Last time I did I had to mail the voucher either with the payment or separately.
Just a reminder to homeowners over 65; check with your local real estate tax agency, you may be able to get a homestead tax break. Mine is more than half off.

I sent my Bonus check and then some to the IRS last week.
They actually have the balls to penalize me for under-withholding!!!! I wrote them a check last year, and again this one. They got their money in full on time - from me. So they make me pay a penalty. F U, IRS!
Never late. never cheated, but _I_ pay a penalty???
I need a tweet from Trump to make me feel better... send them a big check, and they tack a penalty on top of it? I am incredulous. This isn't Making America Great Again, boss...

Uh, what does Trump have to do with the current tax laws? I can't think of any additions to the laws during his first term.
The penalty for under-withholding goes back to Bush 1 when they lowered the withholding requirement to reasonable levels.

Why there is a penalty for ANY taxes paid on time is a crock. If I can write a check, have a decades-long history of doing so, no penalty is warranted... something is rotten in the IRS. Businesses can't do that with their payables, and neither should the people's representatives...
not going political, but this is so totally beyond all logic. They have all the data. They just have too many people making 6 figures and eating Captain Crunch... I hate the IRS.
Go after the total frauds, and stop nicking the regular people! LAZY busterds!
