Kiddo called this morning to talk with MR. B. They got to talk for about 1/2 hour. All is well, Kiddo is in Kuwait. A bit of R & R before the the boat trip towards home.

Making flight arrangements!

Kiddo's wife is going to meet him in Hawaii next month. Kiddo will be going on leave to spend a week or so in Hawaii with her.

Being a young couple and all, Grandpa is paying for the airline tickets and Mr. B and I are sending extra spending money so they can extend their visit in Hawaii a few extra days.
This is her first time in Hawaii and his forth. Who knows when they will have an opportunity like this again. So, for us, it's money well spent.

They will be coming back to California at towards end of the month. (May)

They better rent an HHR for his getting around on the island!

That's great Sindy.My best to the young Marine.Hope they have one h**l of a time on the islands. My son called me from Iraq yesterday and said he will get two weeks leave to come back here around his birthday next month.I miss him something terrible.I am planning some stuff now to surprise him with when he gets here. Sometimes I can be a devious old man.
