Then my area of the country must be weird? Here you can buy million dollar mansions or run down HUD houses for 10K. The population is about 215,000 in Rochester and the housing prices jump around a lot based on the area your looking at. Do you have any ghettos in your area Kar Krazie?

No, we don't have any ghetto's. There are some areas that are better than others though. You see, my city, Santa Clarita, is made of 5 smaller cities, Valencia, Newhall, Saugus, Sand Canyon and Stevonson Ranch. Areas are like Saugus and Newhall are older areas that were around when gold was dicovered here. Stevonson Ranch and Valencia are the newer parts of town, they are very upscale and have a lot of houses.

Our house is in a real nice development called "Circle J Ranch" It's a well established community, fairly new. It is supposed to be the city's most prestigeous community.
If you can get me a job making around 80-100 K a year there I will definately be interested , otherwise my meager 40K / year will not qualify for the payments. I am sure it is nice and would love to get back to to CA area but I would need a substancial increase in income to be able to purchase your house, but what the heck, miracles happen. Who knows maybe it will happen to me. Not gonna hold my breath on this one though. Good luck on finding a qualified buyer..

If I could afford a house like that, I would have two HHR's and an SSR. I am not trying to be sarcastic in any way, but most of us drive the HHR because of the price and the economy of it. So that should give you a clue!
