I've removed, using dental floss and lighter fluid, the GM chicklets and the FlexFuel badge; mine is a 2009. I didn't really mind the chicklets, but got too many questions from people on what this "FlexFuel" thing was. The "HHR" and the "LS" on the rear of the vehicle I expect will stay.

 

Leave the car outside on the next sunny day. That's heat enough. Then follow the tips of others... dental floss, 3M adhesive remover, etc., and re-wax when done.

 

I've removed the 'HHR' letters, & 'Panel' logo off the lift gate, the GM chicklets are next to be removed, but replacing them with tiny Harley Bar & Shield Logos..2 1/4"W x 1 3/4" H

Thank god they finally got rid of those stupid things. Everyone and their mother knows that GM = Chevy, GMC, Caddy, etc. I don't need badges to tell me that. Those are the first things I took off, they look horribly tacky.

 

it amazes me what people consider important....it doesn't matter what they put on the vehicle, everybody knows what company made it, that can never change,and the corp still runs it... so what change? Why even bother ? And I wonder how many manhours were wasted in meetings to determine this would help..... and how many more manhours wasted deciding if the meetings covered everything and lets not forget the impact analysis studies that were done prior to the meetings that also generated meetings for the project team, scheduling team, research team, cost analysis, manpower requirements, planing and legal....I wonder if they figured how long it will take them for the cost savings to equal out.........guess they better set up a meeting to study that...

I may be very alone, but I really enjoy the chicklets. I think it helps to bring the entire General Motor family together. Who really doesn't enjoy just a little extra chrome? HUH?

 

I liked the chicklets. They tasted like pot metal.

 

 

My 2009 had plated "plastic" chicklets. You were lucky. How are your teeth?
