As I have said before, GM seems to be scrambling to mitigate a liquidity crisis, and this recent news regarding their desire to spin off AC Delco is but further proof. I fear that not even their Chinese operations can save them from their bad business decision chickens over the past decade that are now coming home to roost. Plus, the UAW strangle hold on the company is expediting their slide towards oblivion. Abandon Ship!

Hey Victory.....

Your choice of spelling must have been a "Freudian Slip". Me and several other people are LOAO.

Chicken Little returns!

Did the Subaru forums chase you off already? Those lesbians are a lot more militant about their cars than we are.

I never left. I thought about it because of your childish personal attacks. But because all the other members here are cool, I still hang out. Unlike you, they tend to realize that everyone is entitled to express their opinion, and that it can be okay to not be a complete GM Cheerleader all the time.

I'm sorry that the fact that Subaru is flourishing while GM is floundering galls you so much. You need to not be so narrow minded.

Abandon ship! Abandon ship! The sky is falling! Oh no!

Being a GM cheerleader is one thing on a fan site, being a hater all the time is quite another. Especially when you don't even own the car this site is dedicated to anymore.

GM already bought and sold Subaru. They got what they wanted and sold that turkey to Toyota. My sister's 9-2x is a very nice car, much nicer than her POS Audi A4. She spent more time driving a rental Grand Prix than she did driving her A4 over the entire lease.

How did we go from Subaru to SAAB to Audi in that conversation Didn't GM dump SAAB as well? Guy in my unit had one and while it looked nice he used to say it was called a SAAB for "Something's Always About to Break"

Not crazy what they did with the Impreza but I would love to have a WRX STI one day...

The 9-2x is a Subaru Impreza...they call it the Saabaru.

The SAAB division has a lot of market share in Europe and enough of a dealer market in the US to justify its existence here. Although, it's low market penetration in the US has a lot of people wondering IF GM is going to stop importing them. In any case, the new Malibu/G6/Aura probably would not exist in their current form had SAAB not taken a major role in the development of the Epsilon platform.

A lot of Yuppies out east love the 9-3 convertibles...

LOL. Looks like they should have held on to that "turkey":

Add to this Subaru's recent sales figures and it appears to be but further proof of the bad decisions GM has made that led them to where they are today financially. Shoulda kept that turkey!
