I don't think running boards were just dealer install. I think you can get them from the factory already installed. But I have been wrong before.

AFAIK, only Canadian models had factory installled boards.

Mine were on when I bought it, but were invoiced as dealer installed.

Dealer by me received 2 LS's I was originally looking at. Both had running boards & roof racks. Dealer claimed they get special vehicles because of their volume & being around 57 years...

I agree and like the red one,it sounds pristine don't forget Mr. 843 is a highly skilled negotiator just cause they are asking too much is just a place to start.
