It must be Monday

How many people had off Since Thursday or before? How many people had to be at work today. It was a nice little break. The express was packed. I had to transfer to another bus. I got a seat next to a guy who had his elbows leaning on me for most of the trip into manhatten. My coffee was yucky. The sandwhich place made my lunch fast. Plus the weather was in the upper 50's lower 60's during lunch. That was good. Work was a busy day especially a 4:45 fire drille of a major issue that needed to be solved. 5:25 I was able to leave. I made the train, the made it to my connected express bus with a short wait. Going home I had an empty seat. I was able to relax and the highlight of my night is Heroes at 9. Plus I've seen an Orange HHR near my house today.

I got off work Sunday morning and have been sitting around since then. I have to go do field training starting Wed so I am off till them. I am actually kinda nervous about the field training. If no one knows the AF is training there ways. We used to be a really laid back brach. We were known as the Chair Force basically. HAHA...well due to the current operations the AF has stepped up there game plan and we now work and train along side the Army. So for my deployment training I have to go live out the in the field which doesnt bother me. What does bother me is the combat rescue part where we all have to practice sticking IV's in each other. I dont mind needles but when I have a guy that typically turns wrenches trying to stick needles in my arm it kinda makes me nervous. Well thats enough sorry for rambling to. I am blaming it on the wine...haha

Well I was off Thursday spent it all by my self at home the Family was all working and Off on Sunday also. Went in this morning and I was trying to see if I could talk my Boss in getting 2 HHr 's for the Community Service Officers and all I got was a Are you crazy, He stated that the Guys would not fit in the vehicle and he was right but I just had and Idea that it would really cool if I could make that happen. I'll wait a few months and ask again.

I can't wait to get back to work tomorrow morning, I hate being at home. I am one of these guys that is happy when he is at work. I guess its because I love my job.

Cool

I had Wednesday - Sunday off, drove to New Jersey (IN A RENTAL PT CRUISER! sorry, trying to keep my baby mint, and that is what Enterprise gave me), got home at 11:00 last night, back to work today...

TAKIN' THE PT BACK TOMORROW! 2,000 miles in the PT Cruiser, honestly, it is not a bad car, but I would purchase a HHR over it anytime!

LOVE MY HHR!

I worked a few hours Friday, and a couple hours later Sunday evening, spent the rest of my off time outdoors as the temps were fantastic, got the parts car and the new project car home with my son and now I get to spend a couple of hours here and there helping him disassemble the parts car before we dive into the new project...Oh it's a '52 Chevy Deluxe, 4 door 216 straight six going into the garage... coming out will be a two door Carson topped convertable, going to run the 216 until the babbet bearings give up and then we will transplant a small block and an automatic...I can cut this one, my wife has threatened me if a get near the HHR with body tools...hahaha
