Updates, I have a CT scan scheduled for March 6, a follow up appointment for that on March 17th, then an appointment for March 27th for an endoscopy to confirm healing of the surgery and then set an appointment for surgery to reverse the stoma after that probably in late March or early April. Mean while, I am to just hang out and recuperate.

I spoke to my GP this morning, and he is happy my blood sugar level has returned to normal, he is switching me to a different dose of medication. My vitamin B12 and D are back to normal. So there’s that going for me!
My foot doctor is happy with the neuropathy starting to go away, she said the stoma doesn’t transfer nutrients as well as my full system will , so after the reversal, I’ll improve much faster . Yeah!! For that.

Onwards and upwards!!

Today, I had an appointment with my oncologist to review the March 6 CT scan, everything looks great, there is a small cyst in my pancreas, that will be monitored by my new oncologist it is smaller then was thought when found in March 2024 scan .
So, next I meet that new oncologist, then March 27th the scope to ensure everything is good , then if all is well, schedule the stoma reversal procedure.

Well that was interesting, he confirmed I have a 1 mm cyst in my pancreas, it is to be monitored every year with an MRI , ordered by my GP, if it grows by 3 times, then he will have a look and determine if surgery is required.
For right now, all is well!
