Had appointment with chemotherapy specialist and plans are set , appointments scheduled
Large tumour
Close to rectum
2 cancerous spots on lymph nodes
Chemo , then chemo & radiation before surgery so as to shrink the tumour

8 sessions of chemo
Starting Tuesday 19 March
- Monday blood
- Tuesday Dr Kodous
- Wednesday, clinic for infusion
- Thursday chemo bag
- Friday bag comes off
- Then 1 week off
- Then start over

5 weeks of radiation & chemo pill, Monday to Friday

Then surgery to cut out remains of tumour

Neighbor / friend is 84 & about same deal. He lost some weight during treatments, he only weighs 145 regularly.. But came out the other end & is doing good..

My younger sister has been battling Pancreatic cancer, got through the first round of chemo about 6 months ago, now has another round as it has moved to her stomach. Scheduling next round of chemo now. trying times. Hope all goes well for you!!

Thanks, today they moved up the P.I.C.C. Line installation, easy peasy but I am exhausted. So now on Monday I go for blood tests.

Today is first day of chemotherapy, 2 to 3 hours of chemo pumped into my arm. Perhaps it’s just me but this ain’t so bad, it’s just going to kill off those cancer cells! Exactly what it’s supposed to do, just 7 more doses over 15 more weeks, then on to radiation therapy!
